A security consultancy should hold itself to the standard it recommends. Here is exactly what this website does, and doesn't do, with your information.
Who is responsible
Mount Xion Technologies LLC, San Antonio, Texas, operates this website and decides how the information described here is used. For any privacy question or request, write to info@mountxiontechnologies.com or call (210) 729-0079.
What this site collects
The pages themselves are static. Four things collect information, and each is described below: the discovery call request forms, the booking scheduler, website measurement (which runs only if you accept it), and ordinary hosting logs. If what this site collects changes, this page will say so first.
Your choices
On your first visit a banner asks whether to allow measurement. Accepting and declining are equally easy, and declining changes nothing about how the site works. Until you choose, no Google measurement loads and no advertising identifiers are stored. You can change your answer at any time through the "Privacy choices" link in the footer of every page, and declining removes any stored advertising identifiers.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (or similar opt-out preference) signal, this site treats it as a decline automatically, including withdrawing a previous accept.
Advertising and measurement
Mount Xion advertises this site, so two kinds of measurement apply. Both run only after you accept them in the banner.
First, if you arrive from an advertisement or a campaign link, the address carries identifiers (Google's click identifiers and standard campaign parameters). With your acceptance, this site stores them in your browser and attaches them to a form or booking submission made within 90 days, so Mount Xion can tell which advertising produced a genuine enquiry. Entries older than 90 days are deleted the next time the site reads them, though an entry can sit unused in your browser longer if you never return; clearing your browser storage or declining measurement removes it immediately.
Second, with your acceptance, Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement run on this site. Those services set cookies and receive standard technical details about your visit, and Google processes that data for measurement purposes under its own terms; some state privacy laws treat this kind of advertising measurement as targeted advertising. Declining in the banner is how you opt out, and nothing is sent to Google before you choose. Google's practices are described in the Google privacy policy. Mount Xion never sells your information.
The discovery call form
If you submit the request form on the assessment or training page, the details you enter (your business email, organization, role, seat range, who manages your IT, what prompted the enquiry, and your timing), plus any stored campaign attribution you have accepted, are processed by a Cloudflare Pages Function and delivered by email through Microsoft 365 to Mount Xion's business mailbox. They are used only to schedule and scope that conversation, and to conduct the engagement if we work together. Your details are never sold, shared for marketing, or added to a mailing list you didn't ask for.
Booking a call
The booking page runs a scheduler built into this site. The name, email, optional note, time zone, appointment time, and the service topic you chose on the site (if any) are sent to a Cloudflare Pages Function, which creates the appointment in Mount Xion's calendar through Microsoft's Graph and Bookings services; Microsoft then sends you the confirmation email. If the built-in scheduler cannot load, the page offers Microsoft's hosted Bookings calendar instead, where anything you enter goes to Microsoft directly. Microsoft's practices are described in the Microsoft privacy statement.
Please keep the optional notes field to scheduling context. Do not put passwords, security incident evidence, health information, or anything else sensitive in it; that conversation belongs on the call.
If you email Mount Xion, your message and address are used only to respond to you and, if we work together, to conduct that engagement. Your details are never sold, shared for marketing, or added to a mailing list you didn't ask for.
Fonts
Pages load the Manrope typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives the standard technical details of any web request (such as your IP address). Google's practices are described in the Google privacy policy.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare keeps standard technical logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting, under the Cloudflare privacy policy.
How long information is kept
Advertising identifiers stored in your browser: at most 90 days from capture, or until you decline or clear storage. Google Analytics visit data: per the property's retention setting, currently 14 months. Discovery call and booking emails: kept as ordinary business correspondence for as long as the enquiry or engagement is live, then as long as business records reasonably require. Booking appointments: kept in Mount Xion's Microsoft 365 calendar and Bookings records. Hosting logs: per Cloudflare's standard log retention.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask what information Mount Xion holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used, by writing to info@mountxiontechnologies.com. Expect a response within 30 days. If you disagree with the outcome, reply and say so; Donte reviews appeals personally. Depending on where you live, specific privacy laws may give these requests legal force; Mount Xion honors reasonable requests regardless.
Where information is processed
Mount Xion serves clients in the United States, and information collected here is processed in the United States by Mount Xion and the providers named above (Cloudflare, Google, Microsoft).
