Outcomes, not promises.
Mount Xion is a young firm built on a long record. Engagement stories below are anonymized to protect the organizations involved; every number is real, and none of it is invented marketing. Where the work predates the firm, it's labeled as founder career experience, honestly.
A foundation moved fully to the cloud.
The situation. A $1B+ organization was running half on-premise: file servers on site, identity split across a legacy third-party platform, devices managed by hand, and business processes held together by spreadsheets and email. Each of those was a single point of failure nobody was accountable for.
The work. A staged modernization onto Microsoft 365, sequenced so the organization kept working throughout. File servers retired into SharePoint and OneDrive with governance, classification, and retention defined up front. Identity consolidated on Entra ID with multifactor and Conditional Access, and the legacy identity platform shut down. Every endpoint brought under Intune with compliance enforcement and remote wipe. Business systems rebuilt cloud-first, including an advisor engagement CRM and a daily-refresh executive dashboard built in-house instead of licensed.
The result. A modern cloud organization: smaller attack surface, recoverable data, and remote work that simply works. Benchmarked against peer foundations, it came out ahead on cloud adoption, device management, identity modernization, and AI. The technology portfolio still finished roughly $24K under plan in a year the organization absorbed an operating deficit.
By the numbers
- On-premise file servers retired
- Identity consolidated, legacy platform shut down
- Every device under cloud management
- Ahead of peer foundations on cloud adoption
An entire staff brought into governed enterprise AI.
The situation. Leadership wanted the productivity of AI without the risk of staff pasting sensitive data into free tools. Most organizations get one or the other. The mandate: both.
The work. An enterprise AI rollout done in the right order: acceptable-use policy first, then tool selection, staff training designed for non-technical teams, and adoption measurement so leadership could see what it was paying for.
The result. Every member of staff, 100%, more than 60 people, onboarded with guardrails in place from day one, reaching 98% daily active use and 4.0/5 staff satisfaction. Measured, not assumed.
By the numbers
- 100% of staff onboarded (60+ people)
- 98% daily active use
- Policy and training before licenses
- Adoption measured, not assumed
A security program built from zero evidence.
The situation. A $1B+ organization had never had an evidence-based look at its own security posture. Leadership's picture of risk was whatever the last vendor pitch said it was.
The work. The organization's first evidence-based Microsoft 365 posture audit (CISA ScubaGear, Microsoft Secure Score, and NIST CSF 2.0) quantifying previously invisible risk (including multifactor enforcement on only 31% of accounts) and producing 21 findings triaged across four remediation tiers with a risk heat map.
The result. An executable remediation runbook handed to the delivery team, a costed path to a defensible security baseline, and a board that could finally see its real risk picture. This engagement is the template for Mount Xion's flagship assessment.
By the numbers
- 21 findings, triaged across four tiers
- Invisible risk quantified with evidence
- Runbook the delivery team executed
- Costed path to a defensible baseline
Delivered under budget in a deficit year.
The situation. An organization absorbing a ~$395K operating deficit needed its technology function to hold the line, without cutting the security work that protects donor trust.
The work. Full ownership of a ~$790K technology portfolio: vendor and MSP contract governance, license right-sizing, platform consolidation, and honest budget attribution between IT and departments.
The result. The portfolio ran roughly $24K under plan for the year. Vendor rationalization surfaced $15,000+ in recurring annual savings, caught billing anomalies for recovery, and eliminated duplicate licensing, while the security program grew.
By the numbers
- ~$790K portfolio, ~$24K under plan
- $15K+ recurring annual savings surfaced
- Billing anomalies caught for recovery
- Duplicate platforms consolidated
The record behind the firm.
Before Mount Xion, this was the standard of work, in uniform and in the executive chair.
Federal inspection results and foundation tenure are founder career experience prior to Mount Xion Technologies, stated as such.
